Dr. Vanwinkle is the best! He loves my dogs and always available to answer questions. He is patient and kind and you can see his love for dogs. So glad he joined Deer Run and me and my pups are glad to be his patients
I've visited doctors Van Winkle and Barenie at Deer Run and they are both top notch. They treated my cats as gently and patiently as I do. The staff I've met are equally excellent. Use this veterinary office, even if it's out of your way.
Great place to bring your pets especially if they have chronic health issues. The staff is extremely attentive and thorough. Dr. Van Winkle makes sure to explain everything and is willing to take the time to get the answers if he doesn't know them right away. I completely trust the vets and staff her with my pets. Happy to have finally found a place I can go and feel comfortable with the level of care my animals receive.
I've been taking my cats and dogs to Deer Run for over 15 years and drive past a much closer vet to get there, but I won't change. The doctors and staff are great--caring, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They go out of their way to be helpful. Hoping for another 15 years!
