I recently went in on a Sunday night with my sister to buy new bras, which, if you have done so, you know it is not an easy task. So, I knew I needed a fitting, cause the one I was wearing at the time was jabbing broken underwires into my sides and it wasn't the right size, though it had been previously suggested to me by a Lane Bryant employee as my only option for proper support. I wasn't looking forward to this, but my sister was emphatic about it, so I went in willing. We step into the store, and we weren't greeted. Personally, as an employee of a similar store, this is an important part of coming into a store like this. It lets the customer know you see them and that their presence in your store is important to you. I also understood that they might have not seen us, so I looked past it, and I went on to try and see what they had in the designated section for my shopping needs. I spent five minutes perusing this section with my sister while she found her own items, and after looking around for an open employee to ask about fittings (there was only two other customers in the store), there were none to be found, so we kind of eye balled the size and went to try stuff on. Usually, you are escorted into a dressing room by an employee to prevent theft and to show courtesy for your customer's interest in buying your product, but nope. We walked in to a dressing room section full of closed doors and tags that had "reserved for" signs on them followed by a previous customer's name. May I now say without parenthesis that there were only two other people in the store, and there were at least four rooms reserved for at least two people who were not in that store. At the end of the room was a handicap room that wasn't taken, so we scooted in, with plenty of product in our possession, and started trying on stuff. At this point we were just trying to find sizes, cause there was no one to fit us, so we tried some stuff on, my sister left the dressing room a few times to get new stuff to replace the old stuff based on how that stuff worked or didn't work. Still no one acknowledged that we were there. Finally, after plenty of trial and error, we got what we needed and went to the register. My sister went first to the only woman at the register (and on the floor it appeared), and then as I was waiting for her to finish, another employee comes out of the back (having finally seen me) and rang up my order. She was nice the whole time, letting me know about deals and stuff coming up, and I actually felt bad for getting mad about their lack of service. It wasn't until I got home and looked at my receipt that I realized that I spent too large amount of money to put up with not have a tad bit of service let alone none. Get on it Lane Bryant.
Good service.
The staff is amazing! They are friendly and eager to assist. In addition to that, they are honest! I trust their opinion.
